The State

The Estate, with an extension of 150 hectares, is in the spurs of Sierra Morena, and to only 3 km from the city of Cordova.

     It turns out surprising that to only 3 km from the city we find such a privileged place surrounded with nature and with the most beautiful conference. Surely an ideal place to relax and to rely.

     The Farmhouse is in a beautiful valley surrounded with olive trees with more than 500 years of history, and other trees cultivated from remote like chestnut-colored times and almond-trees. In the proximities of the house and in the zones of garden: former select, enormous fig trees, hedges of prickly pears...

Several ways with abrupt tracing allow us to cross the Estate in all his extension, to discover multitude of botanical, own species of our Mediterranean forest: thickets, dogwood, alcornocal, white hawthorns, cornicabras, honeysuckles, matagallos, lentiscos, brooms, cantuesos...

     Between soft hills and ravines, we will find different landscapes. In the zones of sunlight: gorses, greasy rockroses, pinegroves, carob-trees and oaks. In the zones of shady, dogwood, trees srtawberry, blockheads and acanthuses. And in the edges of the creeks that Cabriñana crosses: forest in gallery of almezos and also wild oleanders, myrtles, blackberries...

The estate receives to wild fauna also very varied: jabalíes, mongeese, foxes, hedgehogs, rabbits, weasels, ringdoves, hoopoes, cuckoos, owls, goldfinches, robins, pike - pine...

And in the autumns months, we will be able to discover the multicolored landscape of the trees and shrubs caducifolios that abound in Cabriñana's landscape, as the almezo, the almond-tree, the white hawthorn, the hip or the cornicabra.
